Here's what you need to know...
In accordance with GDPR and privacy best practices, SOAR has created the following Privacy Policy.
We have your email and name because we have worked with you in the past or you signed up to participate in one of our events — either online or in-person — or you have subscribed to our mailing list. When you fill out a Contact Form on our website, we use the information provided to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us.
We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to other parties. We don’t keep any other information about you apart from your email and name for mailing purposes.
We collect this information to share with you how to interact with SOAR. We will not share this information with any other third parties.
When you join the SOAR community, we may contact you via email to send updates and relevant news, talk about new programs, projects, or services, and/or invite you to contact us. We may also contact you via email to tell you about changes to this privacy policy.
When you join our list, we keep your data in our email platform (MailerLite and MailChimp) until you request that we remove your name and other data about you. You may change your preferences or unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email we send.
Your information is securely kept on databases that are hosted by a data protection compliant service provider. We protect your data. However, part of the support for SOAR includes other vendors like Paypal, Constant Contact and EventBrite and our e-commerce gateway, etc. They have their own secure sites and privacy policies for which we are not responsible.
Some of our business partners may use cookies on our site (for example, EventBrite or other event registrars). If you have questions about how one of our partners is using your data, contact that partner.
We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site.
Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
Some of our business partners may use cookies on our site (for example, EventBrite or other event registrars). If you have questions about how one of our partners is using your data, contact that partner.
You have the right to:
See what data we have about you, if any.
Change/correct any data we have about you.
Have us delete any data we have about you.
Express any concern you have about our use of your data.
If you want to act on any of these, then please email us directly: [email protected].
If you ever want to unsubscribe you can also just do that at the bottom of each email, at anytime.
